Clean equipment is not an optional extra at Toads Jump. Every inflatable goes through a repeatable process at pickup and again after it returns, with additional deep cleaning whenever normal cleaning is not enough.
Our cleaning process starts before we leave your event
We clean on site when the equipment is picked up, then clean and inspect it again when it is dropped off at our warehouse. This two-stage approach helps us remove event-day debris promptly and gives the equipment another careful review before its next rental.
On-Site Pickup Cleaning
Before the inflatable is packed, our team removes loose debris and addresses visible dirt from the event. Starting at pickup helps prevent messes from being folded into the equipment.
Warehouse Cleaning
When the equipment is dropped off, it is opened, cleaned again, sanitized with OdoBan, inspected, and allowed to dry as appropriate before being prepared for another event.
Final Inspection
We check high-contact areas, entrances, steps, landing zones, seams, netting, and the inflatable surface so anything needing extra attention can be handled.
Extremely dirty equipment receives a separate deep clean
Some events leave behind more than ordinary dust or grass. When an inflatable needs more extensive work, we schedule a full deep clean on a separate day instead of rushing the job.
- The inflatable is fully opened for better access.
- Heavy soil and problem areas receive focused cleaning.
- Surfaces are rinsed or wiped as appropriate.
- The unit is given time to dry thoroughly before storage or use.
- A follow-up inspection confirms whether more attention is needed.
OdoBan
Every inflatable is sanitized with OdoBan after visible dirt and debris have been cleaned away. We follow the product directions and allow the proper contact and drying time before the equipment is ready for guests.
Simple Green
Simple Green is one of our main cleaners for removing dirt, grease, grime, and everyday residue. It is non-abrasive and works well as part of our inflatable-cleaning process when used as directed.
Why we never skip cleaning
Inflatables see plenty of little hands, socks, grass, dust, snacks, and occasional spills. Something can look acceptable from a distance and still need attention in the areas guests touch most. Cleaning, sanitizing, drying, and inspection are part of every turnaround—not something we do only when a unit looks dirty.
Our standard is simple: the inflatable should arrive clean, sanitized, inspected, and ready for its intended use. Dry inflatables are allowed to dry as appropriate, while water slides may still be wet during waterslide season and freshly applied sanitizer may occasionally still be drying. We want every family to receive equipment we would feel comfortable using at our own celebration.
What we look for between rentals
Visible dirt and debris
Grass, leaves, dust, food residue, and other event-day debris are removed rather than left inside a rolled inflatable.
High-contact areas
Entrances, handles, climbing steps, walls, landing areas, and frequently touched surfaces receive special attention.
Moisture and drying
Equipment is given time to dry as needed. Proper drying is important before an inflatable is stored or prepared for another event.
Condition and performance
Cleaning time also gives us another opportunity to notice wear, damage, or a condition that should be addressed before the next rental.
Cleaning & Sanitizing FAQs
Do you clean after every rental?
Yes. Cleaning and sanitizing are required parts of our process after every use, not just when an inflatable appears dirty.
Are water slides cleaned too?
Yes. Our process applies to all rented inflatables, including bounce houses, combos, water slides, and obstacle courses.
What happens if a unit is extremely dirty?
It is removed from the normal turnaround process and scheduled for a separate deep-clean day so the work is not rushed.
Will the inflatable arrive dry?
Dry-use inflatables are allowed to dry as appropriate before storage or their next use. During waterslide season, a water slide may still be wet because it is designed to be used with water. There may also be occasions when freshly applied sanitizer is still drying when the equipment arrives. Clean moisture or sanitizer is different from an inflatable being put away dirty or musty.
Are your cleaning products appropriate for inflatables?
We use OdoBan and Simple Green according to their directions as part of our equipment-care process. Surfaces are wiped, rinsed, dried, or given the required contact time before guest use.
Do you inspect while cleaning?
Yes. Cleaning gives us another chance to check entrances, steps, landing areas, seams, netting, and other high-contact or high-wear areas.
