Dunk Tank Rental in Calistoga and St Helena
Few things get a crowd cheering like a dunk tank. Someone brave takes the seat, the throwers line up, and one good hit on the target sends them splashing into the water. Toads Jump is based in Hidden Valley Lake in Lake County, and we bring our dunk tank to Calistoga and St Helena for school carnivals, fundraisers, company picnics, team parties and summer birthdays. Our crew delivers it, sets it up, and comes back to pick it up the same day, so you get to enjoy the show.

Meet Our Dunk Tank
Our dunk tank is a Twister Display Easy Dunker. It has a water tank with a viewing window, a seat above the water, a target and a set of balls. A chain link fence around the tank stops stray throws, a backdrop catches near misses, and a safety lock secures the seat before anyone can be dunked. The safety rules are printed right on the side of the tank. You’ll find current pricing and open dates on the dunk tank page. The fun part is choosing who sits on the seat. Dunking the principal, a coach or the boss at the company picnic gets everyone in line for a turn.Rider Rules From the Manufacturer
We follow Twister Display’s rules for every rider:- At least 5 ft tall and no more than 250 lbs
- Able to swim
- One person on the seat at a time
- An adult operator on duty at all times
How Delivery to Calistoga and St Helena Works
- Delivery fee: Calistoga and St Helena are outside Lake County, so a delivery fee based on distance from Hidden Valley Lake is added to your order. A minimum order applies for delivery to this area. You’ll find delivery details on our Service Area page, or you can check it for your address while you book.
- Setup and pickup: Our crew sets up the dunk tank before your event and comes back to pick it up the same day.
We also deliver the dunk tank to Angwin and Pope Valley.
Getting Your Spot Ready
- Level ground. Plan for about 5 to 10 ft of width and 10 to 12 ft of depth for the setup with the arm out for the target, plus room for the line, with a roped-off area in front of, beside and behind the tank to keep onlookers back.
- Room overhead. The tank stands about 6 to 8 ft tall, so pick a spot away from low branches, wires and roofs.
- A clear path. The tank rolls in on a trailer or dolly, so leave a clear, firm path at least 36 inches wide to the setup spot. Let us know ahead of time about stairs, steep slopes, narrow paths or gates.
- No power needed. The dunk tank doesn’t need power, so you won’t need an outlet or a generator.
- Clear the spot. Pick up sticks, rocks, toys and pet waste before we arrive.
Water and Fill Time
The tank holds about 450 to 500 gallons of water. You’re responsible for a working water connection, and we provide hoses for up to 50 feet from the spigot to the setup area. If your spigot is farther, please have extra hose ready or arrange more with us in advance, and additional charges may apply. A standard garden hose fills the tank. Most of the time it fills in 30 to 60 minutes, but it can take longer if your water pressure is low. We’ll show you where to fill it to, leaving at least 8 inches from the top. When you’re done, the tank drains through an easy release drain valve at the setup spot, so pick a place where the water can drain safely. If the tank is left unsupervised, it has to be drained.Planning a Dunk Tank at a Park
Most parks don’t allow a dunk tank because there’s no water access. A few will, but you need to set up water access with the park yourself before you book, since we don’t arrange it. You’ll also need an approved permit on file before the event. We send our Certificate of Liability Insurance to the park for you, park rentals include a park fee, and someone from your group needs to stay with the equipment until our crew picks it up. The full details are on our Park Party Rentals page.Clean Equipment, Every Time
Every unit is cleaned and sanitized after each rental, and we sanitize it again when we deliver.Reserving Your Date
Once your deposit is paid, your dunk tank is reserved for your date, and the deposit goes toward your total. The rest is due at delivery, either charged to the card on file or paid in cash. Our crew doesn’t carry change. Warmer months are our busiest time, so reserve early if you can.If Rain Is in the Forecast
If weather forces a cancellation before we set up, you can reschedule at no added cost by moving your deposit to another date within one year, or get a refund. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your event, you’ll get a full refund for weather only. Once we’ve set up, there are no refunds if it rains. What Our Customers Say

We had such a wonderful experience with Toads Jump for my daughter’s birthday party! From start to finish, the entire process was easy and stress-free. They were incredibly helpful with all of the HOA requirements and made sure everything was taken care of, which we really appreciated. Setup was smooth, they arrived on time, and pickup was just as easy. The bounce house was clean, looked great, and was a huge hit with all of the kids. It truly helped make the party extra special. Thank you to the entire Toads team for your professionalism, kindness, and excellent service. We really appreciate everything you did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking to rent a bounce house for their next event!
